We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Odoo Developer with 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and customizing Odoo modules to meet the needs of our clients and improve business processes.
Responsibilities
- Development and Customization
- - Develop new Odoo modules and customize existing ones to align with business requirements.
- - Create and modify Odoo views, templates, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Integration
- - Integrate Odoo with third-party applications using Odoo APIs.
- - Ensure seamless data flow between Odoo and other systems.
- Testing and Debugging
- - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
- - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Odoo modules and configurations.
- Support and Maintenance
- - Provide technical support and maintenance for Odoo systems.
- - Assist in upgrading and migrating Odoo versions.
- Documentation
- - Prepare technical documentation and user guides for developed modules.
- - Maintain clear and concise records of customization and integration processes.
- Collaboration
- - Work closely with functional consultants and other developers to gather and analyze requirements.
- - Participate in code reviews and team meetings to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
Must Have
- Education
- - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience
- - Minimum of 1 year experience working with Odoo development.
- - Proven experience in developing and customizing Odoo modules.
- Technical Skills
- - Proficient in Python and JavaScript.
- - Good understanding of Odoo framework and ORM
- - Experience with PostgreSQL, XML, and QWeb.
- - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- - Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JQuery).
- Soft Skills
- - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- - Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Additional Qualifications
- - Experience with Odoo.sh and Odoo Enterprise.
- - Understanding of business processes and workflows.
- - Certification in Odoo development (preferred but not required).
Nice to have
- 1+ years of experience with Odoo development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Odoo deployment and server management.
- Knowledge of business processes and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business requirements
